Qichenshop supplies paid samples to distributors, wholesalers, contractors and EPC buyers who want to verify product quality before placing a bulk order. A sample lets you check the housing finish, light output, packaging and accessories with your own eyes before committing capital to a container. This page explains sample fees, the credit rule, order limits, shipping terms and how to request a sample.
Sampling is available for the full published range, including all-in-one solar street lights, split solar street lights, LED flood lights and outdoor wall lights. Each model on this website has a technical datasheet you can download before deciding which units to sample, so your sample budget goes only to the candidates that already fit your specification.
1. Sample Availability
Samples are chargeable. The fee depends on the type of customization you require:

Example: an OEM request covering 3 models is charged 3 x USD 50 = USD 150; an ODM request covering 2 models is charged 2 x USD 300 = USD 600.
Sample fees do not include prototyping fees, mold fees, freight or taxes. These are quoted separately where applicable.
2. Sample Fee Refund
Sample fees are fully credited against your first bulk order when the order value reaches USD 1,000 or more. The credit is applied to the invoice of that first order; it cannot be exchanged for cash or carried over to later orders.
3. Order Limits
To keep sampling capacity available for serious buyers:
- Maximum 10 units per model per customer
- Maximum 100 units per customer per year across all models
Requests beyond these limits are quoted as trial orders rather than samples. Limits are counted per legal entity; if you manage several brands or branches, mention this in your request and we will confirm the applicable arrangement before you order.
4. Shipping and Delivery

Freight charges, import duties and taxes in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer. Please provide your forwarder’s contact details when confirming the sample request so we can arrange handover without delay.
Because samples ship through your own forwarder, you keep control of the courier account, the routing and the customs clearance process in your market. If you do not yet have a forwarder, mention this in your request and we will discuss available options before dispatch.
5. Customized Samples
Customized samples are available with the following options:
- Logo: laser engraving or labeling
- Packaging: customized packaging
- Parameter configuration: battery capacity, PV panel wattage, cable length and similar parameters can be adjusted. Customization scope is subject to the model specification sheet and engineering assessment.
If you need a configuration outside these options, tell us the target parameters and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
6. How to Request
- Send your request: email info@qichenshop.com or message us on WhatsApp with the model numbers, quantities and any customization requirements. Including your market and project type (road tender, compound lighting, retail program) helps us confirm the right configuration faster.
- Confirm the quotation: we confirm the sample fee, freight estimate and lead time, and issue the sample invoice.
- Production and dispatch: after payment is received, samples are prepared within the stated lead time and shipped through your designated forwarder, with tracking information shared by email.
When your samples arrive, test them against the specification sheet for the model. If any result raises a question, send us the test conditions and observations – the same materials also serve as the baseline for any later warranty discussion under our Warranty Policy.
